Nate Bondi is the owner/founder of SoCal Mountain Guides. Starting his climbing career in New Hampshire over 15 years ago, Nate has led climbing trips and programs in New Hampshire, Montana, Colorado, Kentucky, and California. Nate holds a Bachelor of Science in Outdoor Education from the University of New Hampshire and a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from Philadelphia Biblical University. His wilderness certifications include Wilderness First Responder (NOLS WMI), and American Mountain Guides Associations (AMGA) Single Pitch Instructor Certification, and recent completion of the AMGA Rock Instructor Course. | | | |  | Alex GilbertAlex is a regular rock climbing and outdoor enthusiast. He starting climbing with the student guide program at Point Loma Nazarene University and quickly gained his Wilderness Advanced First Aid through Wilderness Medical Associates. He also holds a current California Class B driver's license. Alex is pursuing AMGA Single Pitch Instructor training in 2011, and when not guiding is studying Music or environmental studies at Point Loma Nazarene University. He also loves to surf, bike, climb Sierra Nevada peaks, and play guitar. In his first full year with SCMG, Alex leads many of the Mission Gorge Rock and Rappel programs and assists with Joshua Tree 1/2 rock climbing programs. |  | Chris Kleppe Chris is an avid outdoorsman with many passions. When he is not working at an EMT or a Cal Firefighter, Chris can be found doing one of the following: "Well I like long walks on the beach and ........enjoy poetry readings and afternoon tea and crumpets..... my family...friends and Rock Climbing and surfing....and skating pools....and slack lining… biking...and hiking...and adventuring… reading...and beaches...and music...and mini-golf...and road tripping....and jumping....and handstands...and yoga....and more tea...and cooking...and walking dogs...and pictures...and...."- well, you get a good idea of what a great guy he is. In his first season with SCMG, Chris's specialties include Mission Gorge Rock climbing trips and hard traditional and sport lead climbs |
